We haven’t posted much on the site in the past 45 days, but we have steadily been working at the Social Print Experiment. Our vertical site, Zedcardsplus.com has been growing in daily business, and it seems like we’ve latched on to a steady income from printing. It’s still not much to sustain us for a long time, but encouraging just the same.
I’m headed to Graph Expo in Chicago, looking for some new acquisitions. We’re planning Social Print Experiment 2.0, and I think we’ll have an interesting twist to add to it starting in December – the launch of another printing company in San Diego (not ours) that we will be tracking. They hired us a few months ago to consult with them on the startup of a digital printing company, and help them build the initial footprint of their production workflow. We won’t share financials, but we’ll be sharing enough that you can track their success. Their primary means of marketing will be social media, with very little print or television.
I’ll also be checking out some of the new technologies and updates to existing technology, and I’ll have a full report when I return. It’s going to be strange walking in to Graph Expo and see HP instead of Heidelberg right as I walk in. It looks like Digital Printing has finally arrived!
Look for my report when I return.
