Social Print Experiment – Episode 4

by Andrew Simmons on March 30, 2010

This is our longest episode yet, at just over 15 minutes. In this new episode, we get the CEO report about the profitability of the Social Print Experiment; answer the question as to whether or not we’re for real; brainstorm on a marketing strategy (one of many to come); and get a review of our storefront we’re using for the web2print system by none other than Steve Enstad, co-founder of PageDNA. The part with PageDNA runs for about 5 minutes, but it’s a great look at the backend that supports the storefront, and Steve puts in a lot of detail about their solution (and the one we chose).

With each video we post, I get a TON of email, and as of late a lot of people who want to help us succeed at what we’re doing. With episode 5 we’re going to start with appearances from other printers around the country, and here’s how you can participate:

Send us your company shirt, XL to XLL, with your logo on the shirt, and I’ll wear it during one segment of our episode. Include with it a check for $100 and an elevator pitch on your company, and we’ll broadcast your company info. Want to have your own cameo appearance? If you have a FlipCam, you can record and upload a three minute overview of who you are and your company (we’ll edit it down to a minute or so), include a company shirt and a check for $250, and you can become part of one of our future episodes. Each episode is limited to three companies.

Our shipping address is:

The Social Print Experiment
Attn: Andrew Simmons

Our next episode will cover our social marketing initiatives and how our web2print solution is doing, just a week in from it’s official launch (plus hopefully some cameo appearances and some really cool t-shirts from printers around the country!).

The video is a great look into the PageDNA solution and congratulations on launching Printelope.com!

Considering you have built your traffic to the SocialPrintExperiment.com, where is the cross promotion/linkage to your sales site?
